Everyday Minerals Haul #2, Sigma

I got an email after french class stating that your parcel from DHL has been delivered!

I rushed home and found this in my room!

First off, items from Sigma Makeup. Sigma is known on the internet for creating brushes that are dupes of MAC. MAC is one of the well known makeup company and you can only find them at places like Tangs Vivocity, Isetan Scotts, Ngee Ann City. Well you should have an idea now that they are more of high end makeup and pricey

A real MAC brush #188 and #187 retails for SGD70 each! I think or something like that.

As I’ve mentioned above, Sigma create dupe brushes of MAC. Basically Sigma add ‘SS’ in front of the brush number. I got the SS188 and the SS187 for USD36!

They came in this red organza bag and there’s like a brochure inside and tips on how to clean your makeup brushes.

The brushes are actually similar to one another. Just that SS188 is the smaller version of SS187.

I got this ELF brightening eye color for free though. Anyways, I’m quite disappointed with the SS187. When i first took it out, it sheds like mad. Nevertheless, i love the S188 and the softness are comparable with Everyday Minerals brushes.

Next, my Everyday Minerals!

An eye kabuki brush and eyeliner/brow brush. Though i don’t understand why i got the eyeliner/brow brush in the first place. I just -wanted- it. I regret it now though. Nothing fantastic about it. I find the bristles a tad sparse..

I got myself one of their pressed powder which is a new thing that Everyday Minerals are churning out. I hate the sponge they gave. It’s crappy. I’d use their brushes.

Didn’t i already told you how much i love Everyday Mineral’s brushes and i need to get more before it’s out of stock or mine became useable? I NEED THIS TO STAY ALIVE.

I bought 2 of this Soft Bronze because they are totally fucking amazing at controlling facial oil.

No this isn’t a blush. It’s not that red in real life. It’s actually a finishing powder but I’m planning to use it as a bronzer. We’ll see how it goes.

Surprised? Color corrector. If you have seen the color wheel, you will know that red is the opposite of green. That means if you have blemishes or any red pigmentation and if you pile on this thing, it will cancel out the redness. Poof. Say good bye to redness. There is also other color correctors like lilac and blue.

IKEA came today too to deliver all my furniture. Sadly we have to assemble it ourselves or pay them to do it.

What a great day. Gosh, i already feel like ordering more makeup!

By the way, don’t you think my images are superb quality! If it’s crap, it must be taken by my iPhone if not, taken with my Nokia N82! Not bad huh for a mobile phone camera!

Some heads up.

My package from USA is in Hong Kong now. I am really impress with DHL. It’s good and fast. Incase you’re wondering what is in the package.. Well it’s makeup related stuff. I’ll probably blog about it when it arrives on my doorstep.

Tomorrow, IKEA will be delivering my furniture! I am super excited about it. As many of you have know, My parents decide to rebuild the fourth room in the house and it is my room. On one side of the room, it’s entirely glass. A glass door has also been added. A glass sliding door to be precise. Over the course of my holiday we made numerous visit to Ikea Tampines and pick out items for my room.

Naturally being an Apple Fanboy, my favorite color is white. Ikea’s furniture are dirt cheap. Anyways, we have to assemble the furniture ourselves. There’s going to be plenty of work to do.

And of course school has been hectic as usual and not to mention it is the second term already which means all of the project due dates are getting near. These days, I have been lazy and not attending school lectures.

In any case, I’m not the type of person who blogs about ohh i went out with so and so and we went to catch the movie so and so and i think it is good and then we went to eat at so so and the food is so nice! Look look i take picture look nice right.

Okay fuck that.

I prefer to blog about current issues.

I can’t wait to to buy my DSLR. Sony Alpha 330.

MAC Cosmetics!

Even though I did mention a lot of times about cosmetics and I’m totally open about it and admitting that I’m using it..

I chicken out at the thought of entering into a MAC Store.

Absolutely can’t wait for the holidays to commence!

I’m gonna head down to MAC Cosmetics store to get some things. A MAC 109 Contouring Brush($68), Studio Finish Concealer($28) and maybe Face & Body Foundation($50+?)!

It’s really intimidating entering to the store.. MAC Cosmetics are on par with Bobbi Brown, Trish Mcevoy and so on. They cost really expensive. And i can’t imagine walking in talking to the makeup artist and asking for assistance in matching my skin tone. I feel so uncomfortable. What’s wrong with me!

Household updates!

And the Full HD Television arrived!

Look at my water bottle!

And i can hook up my MacBook to the television and make it a 40 inch display for me! But i don’t have the necessary cables to do so.

Stupid.

I was flipping through various channel trying to find a HD Channel to test out the much raved HD features. To my dismay, i couldn’t find a HD Channel. Bummer, what a waste. Why did my parents get a Full HD TV anyway?

Now, other minor updates.

Apparently my glass wall and door can’t be fixed in yet because 9 feet of glass is too high which is from the tiles on the floor way up to the ceiling. The solution was to build like a beam above. Main door and both toilet door has been changed! And I was exclusively asked to choose the colors!

26th May – Beam will be fixed and it requires a few days for it to ‘dry’.
29th May – Air Con Men will be coming to change all 3 aircon units and install 1 unit in my new room!

Excited much!

My parents spend quite a lot on this. The glass door cost about $3,000 and the installation of new air conditioning units cost about $3,000 too. They wouldn’t need to install new air conditioning unit if there was no fourth room.. And the cost of furniture like my new bed, wardrobe and etc is not counted in yet.

Birthday birthday birthday!

It’s 13th of May people!

Omg i have this blog for so long till i can even find my own post that i made on for my 16th birthday!

Finally! LIKE FINALLY…

And so at at when the digital clock strikes 00:00AM I clicked submit on Citibank’s website, and it says i have to be 18.

WTF MAN.

I tried again at 6AM. You have to be 18.

WTF MAN.

And then i realized that my Date of Birth i wrote today’s date instead of 13th May 1991.

WTF I AM SUCH A BLONDE.

And so there was this generic error at 6 AM. I tried again at 8AM, 12PM, 7PM.

GENERIC ERROR.

I called Citibank’s hotline and they have no idea what is wrong.

Apparently my mother can’t been my guardian because her name is already been used for their secret verification thingy crap which i can’t change so i had to get my father.

Yes, I’m truly a dumb blonde.

And finally i managed to get my application submitted! And i just finished printing all the required documents and sealing in the envelope ready to be sent out!

This year i opted for something different i wanted my birthday to remain unknown or inconspicuous.

And no i didn’t get a car. I’m only psyched about getting my own credit card and my driving license. Everything else i don’t care including going to clubbing.

Denise was bored in i guess. I was sitting at the back so basically i could see everyone’s screen. And i saw denise drawing this and send it to me through msn.

I’m just plain weird.

Well, I’m weird! As if no one knows that.

So, as many of you have know, tomorrow is my birthday and i have been waiting for this day to come ever since ever!

The reason being, i can finally register for my own credit card and do my own online shopping without bugging my mum for her credit card.

You have no idea how many things i am planning to buy online from the United States which I last heard from a friend that over 40 of it’s states has been infected with the infamous swine flu! Now, I guess it is possible that the bacteria of the swine flu could seep in and then travel all the way from US to Singapore and then i opened it and then BOOM. I’ll be famous! I guess since I’ll be the first case in Singapore.

I’m digressing right? And of course registering for your driving license and for most of you, entering into pubs and stuff.

Anyways, I did opened my other package that recently arrived from the US. I’m still alive, kicking, squashing ants, stomping on cockroaches, punching cats, kick random boy’s testicles, cursing people.. Well you get the picture, I’m healthy as a horse!

As i was saying, I am weird! I was at school today cloud nine, elated and being oblivious to lectures.. and I realized that I’m really gonna be 18! It’s like so OLD. I can’t believe I’m aging that fast. Before you know it, I’m 50 with horrible wrinkles and do you know that by the time you’re 20, the collagen on your skin starts to slow down and then as you age more, you’ll spending most of your time on anti aging cream! And so i was having butterflies in my stomach, nauseous and freaking out.

THAT IS SO SCARY.

I want eternal youth!

Everyone does.

And one more thing, I cannot stress enough how sunblock is VERY important. The sun damages your skin and make you age even faster! Do YOU wanna look like someone in their midlife when you’re only in your twenties!? Of course not! Use sunblock people! And do not go for tanning, fake tan is so much better or use a bronzer.

Now, about 5 more hours till i can hop on Citibank’s website and start registering for my credit card!
