The end of my SAP adventures

2/10/2009

To start things off, I pass my SAP TERP10 Exam that cost me $400! IDA will be refunding $200.

I had four hours of sleep on the night before. I stayed up till 2AM to revise my work. Everything seems to pay off.

I’ll be getting my certificate in a few weeks time.

Many of us pass, some forgo their sleep and continued working on revising their work, coming to school with puffy and bloodshot red eyes.

For the past 2 weeks or so, I’ve been attending school 9AM to 5PM everyday single day to attend class. Imagine how tough it is to actually sit in class from 9AM to 5PM listening to lectures and taking down notes. They are practical sessions but trust me, the practical sessions are not very enjoyable.

That’s how thick my notes are incase you’re wondering. Standing side by side my iPod Touch, you can see that the stack of notes are NEARLY the same height of my iPod Touch.

The exam was today, Friday October 2nd 2009. We finished the last topic on Tuesday in the same week. We’re left with 2 days to revise all those topics.

It’s not a joke when the teacher says, you have to revise what you’ve learn today at home every night.
All in all, I am satisfied in getting my certificate. I think SAP TERP10 Course is worth it considering it that it cost $8900 outside but under some university alliance scheme, you only have to pay $400 and if you pass the exam, IDA gives you $200. Isn’t that such a good deal?
Besides, every year, plenty of students graduated from the same diploma as you. How are you gonna stand out from the rest?
I say, go for it and sign up for SAP TERP10!
Personally, this is one of the worst torture I have ever gone through for my brain. I swear I was under intense stress and the night before I broke down because I couldn’t memorise everything on my notes.
However, not to worry, we were only given 2 days to revise. It might different for you.
In any case, if you were to fail exam, you can retake the exam a month later for another $400. You have up to 3 chances.

My iPod Touch

14/07/2009

Yes, it’s an iPod Touch, not an iTouch, an iPod Touch. Get it in your head.

It arrived this morning as i was getting ready for school.

You might be wondering, why on earth did i get an iPod Touch when i already have an iPhone?

Incase you ignorant people didn’t know, Apple is currently having a student promotion. Every mac you buy entitles you up to $365 of rebate for any of the iPods. My mother bought me the iMac that cost $3,000! Yes that is a lot of money but I’m sure it’s well spent. Besides, it’s a gift, I’ll definitely make a post about it when it arrives on the 20th of July.

Macs are for people to flourish their creativity. You suck if you don’t have a Mac. (Obviously this is debatable.)

The iPod Touch cost about $388. I basically had to pay another $28 to get an iPod Touch. It is an irresistible offer.

I don’t need an iPod Touch. I might sell it or give it to my mum since she’s the best. Or i might be able to find some use for it. In any case, i HAD to open the iPod Touch to get the UPC so that i can receive the rebate.

The first thing i noticed when i touched it was that I felt a magical sensation as my fingers glide through the multi-touch glass screen effortlessly. I had to moan through the roof and my neighbor threw their cat at me.

Okay enough, i was just kidding.

I noticed that it was about two times thinner than my iPhone. All of a sudden i felt my iPhone can be use as a brick to smash people to death.

The iPhone on the left.

With flash.

Without flash.

Stack on each other. The iPhone is at the bottom.
