School, Misery & Paranoia
12/02/2010This week has been rather tiring, exhausting but yet fulfilling. First off, on Thursday it was the submission for the BSIT XML assignment. Overall, I think my group did pretty well. All of our applications were able to run smoothly without creating an unpredictable, never before seen error. Moreover, our RMI integration between the four applications went super smooth. I think we were the only group in the class to implement RMI! That makes us feel special in a way. Hopefully we are able to gain more marks because of it.
On Friday, we had DSCN lab test in the morning and assignment presentation in the afternoon. Luckily, the test was rather simple. Actually, it was very simple. If we were to compare the lab test and the actual application that we have coded for our assignment, the comparison is like comparing a pea with a watermelon (Does that make sense?). We spend alot of time doing our assignment and because of that, we are quite knowledgeable regarding RMI and TCP/IP. Hence, the lab test was rather “chicken feet” or very easy so to say.
I’m glad that we are finally done with DSCN. I think we did very well for our DSCN. We implemented a ton of features onto our application. Honestly, my group is rather amazing, they are a bunch of talented and smart people who are able to code literally anything. I feel rather lucky and thankful that I’m in their group!
All in all, both Mr Teo and Ms Lim are rather pleased with our work as well.
