I do have to disagree with you on the whole natural beauty thing. There are perfectly attractive people who do not need surgery or make-up to look good. I’ve known quite a few women throughout my life who are natural beauties, as well as men. I myself do not wear make-up, and am constantly told that I’m attractive by people of all ages, races and both genders.

Perhaps where you live there is a higher percentage of ugly to beautiful? Just a suggestion.

However, when you get cheek, chin and nose implants, alarplasty/tiplasty, double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty jaw shaving and you just so happen to come out Eurasian looking? That’s ethnic rejection, which makes her a disgrace to her race and a TERRIBLE role model for young Asian women.

I actually AM Eurasian, and I see her as a plastic-faced wannabe. Visit any Eurasian/mixed forum and you’ll find the general consensus to be the same – a scary looking wannabe. We don’t want people to think that we’ve had surgery to get our more European features, just because she has and pretends to be a mix.

Oh, and I’m not jealous. I have ALL of her features NATURALLY, only they look better on me because it’s NATURAL.

For a perfectly normal girl to drastically change her appearance (hypothetically if she did), it is a sign of insecurity. Insecurity about her self image and her general insight of what she thinks of herself. And usually, people don’t see that as a very redeeming quality.

Aside from her personality or lifestyle, she made her choice. The so called “haters” have no right to mock her or her weaknesses. As long as she doesn’t regret her decision, it really doesn’t matter what everyone else thinks.

And about the men: Most guys I know do not mind girls going under the knife, but it is different when it is “their woman”. I think it’s just the fact that guys like to know their girlfriend’s have natural beauty. They don’t want to look at their beloved’s face and imagine that a surgeon had to physically go under to achieve the outcome.

It’s all how about personal preference.

There IS such thing as natural beauty. Everyone has it. Those who don’t believe it exist are blinded by the media and the society. It’s not shallow to believe in natural beauty. It’s more like the opposite.

I believe that she is totally gorgeous whether she went under the knife or not. I just cannot believe people can be cruel to say that she was so fugly before her surgery (which is probably the reason why she went under the knife). I admit that I support cosmetic and plastic surgery. We live in a materialistic world in which we all want to be perfect. If I had the money to undergo surgery, I definitely would. Why? Not because I want to be fake, or someone else, but for the reason that I have bad acne problems. Everyone wants to be accepted. I don’t see anything wrong in surgery… but its my opinion…

As for Dawn Yang herself, I understand why people do not like her. But I do not understand why some people actually go so far to write about how much they hate a person. I would think it would be the other way around, in which her fans would write about her..

I agree with what “girl” stated about people being very ugly because of jealousy. If you do not like something, then just drop it. No need to let the world know how much you hate a person cuz honestly, no one else cares.. We do agree that it is her life, so let it be.

She might get all the fame now – but there will be a price to pay later on. Look at MJ.
